Worth the wait

Sometimes we jump the gun.  We have developed the “right now syndrome”.  Is anything worth waiting for?  Do you think the longer you wait you may lose interest?  Or the longer you wait it will make you more grateful that you finally have it?

Sometimes it’s hard to wait on something or someone when you are anxious to have it in your possession.  GOD says “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to GOD” (Philippians 4:6).

So whether it be that promotion, new job, new car, restored relationship, marriage, whatever your desire maybe DON’T BE ANXIOUS!!!

Don’t jump the gun.  Wait on GOD; it’s worth the wait.

Achy Breaky Heart

So I woke up this morning and it hit me like a ton of bricks.  I AM BROKEN.  Try saying that out loud in a crowded room.   Heck, try saying that in the mirror, “it hurts”!

Sure I walk around with a smile on my face, but that doesn’t get rid of the pain.  Sure I help others in need, I encourage, and I uplift.  I heard some say “be about God's business and watch your situation seem less important" or “there's always someone who has it worse than you".  Does that make your feelings, hurt, and pain irrelevant or somehow disappear, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Who is there to pick you up?  Oh and we can’t forget the distrust you have from the countless times you had to pull that knife out of your back.  What do you do?

I can recall someone saying “when you are at your lowest and have nothing left to give that is when GOD steps in and can finally work”!  When you have done all you can in your own strength realize your strength is so weak compared to GOD’s, and that in your weakness God's strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).  God is the master at puzzles.  Let him piece your heart back together with healing through LOVE!

Christ gives life to the full.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

Have ever felt there has to be more to life than chasing temporary highs. No matter how good it gets in life you have to always go back to get more. There is another way.

The “good” life that Christ offers is not one that will run out. He promises and provides joy outside of circumstances that this world cannot provide. Joy, peace, wellness, and success without end can all be found in the person of Christ who met all God requirements for bless and gave up his life for you though his complete work on the Cross.

Now when you Choose Christ you become a co-owner and co-heir to all the same blessings as Christ through his righteousness and what he has done and not your performance. Christ loves you so much He did all these things for you. He’s not here to harm you but to give abundant life.

Christ is the way out.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:17

Only an eternal sacrifice can create eternal forgiveness. Christ is God in the flesh and his sacrifice and finished work on the cross offers complete forgiveness and eternal security to all those who put their trust in him. Christ did not come to put you to shame, make you feel guilty and condemn you. He has come to bring you salvation, total wellness, and success in your life. Christ is the way out.

Believe in Christ for eternal life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

We all have sinned and done wrong in the eyesight of God. Just one lie is enough to keep us away from God for eternity and how many of those have we told? But God loves us so much that he came in the person of His Son and met his own standard for righteousness that we can never meet. Furthermore he died and took the punishment for every sin we would ever commit. So we can be eternally secure and live with him forever when we….#CHOOSE CHRIST.
