Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he
that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
John 11:25
Jesus is the author and
cause of resurrection. He is Resurrection.
He demonstrated his power
over death when Lazarus rose from the dead at the sound of his voice. (John 11:44) And when he Himself rose from the Dead.
In Him is life, and that life was the light of men.
Faith does not save from temporal death; but although the
believer, as others, will die a temporal death, yet he will hereafter have
life. Even if he dies, he shall hereafter live.
Be restored to life in the resurrection, have life to the full
now, be eternally secure, put you trust in Christ alone.
